We've had a lot of people who have asked for more video clips of our birds, and we really do try to take the pictures, but the birds just don't always cooperate. Actually, even when people come to visit, the first thing they ask is "Do your birds talk?" and of course, the fids clam right up and won't say a word - just like a human kid, they only talk when they want to!

It used to be that as soon as the camera came out of the bag, Cameo would not only stop chattering away, but she'd also run and hide in her cage and then stand stiff and still, like a stuffed bird. Well all that changed this past week - Gord took the camera up to try to get a picture of Enid and a picture of Cameo to send to the Fort McMurray SPCA for their upcoming Pets Calendar, and amazingly enough, Cameo decided to ham it up. Not only did we get still pictures of her, but she let Gord get some fun video clips of her, too!
